Jakub Małecki. A new name on our list!

We would like to introduce you to another of our new authors: Jakub Małecki. He is a young but already quite acclaimed novelist and translator. Małecki’s first novel (Błędy) was published in 2008 and followed by seven books:  Przemytnik cudu (2008), Zaksięgowani (2009), Dżozef (2011). W odbiciu (2011), Odwrotniak (2013), Dygot (2015) and Ślady (2016). His ninth novel, Rdza is going to be published on 27 September. Małecki’s books and short stories were shortlisted for a number of literary prizes including Janusz A. Zajdel Award, the Angelus Prize and the Nike Literary Prize 2017.

Małecki’s novels are a rare treat for all those looking for high quality literary fiction. We are happy to see his book Ślady (Footprints) on this year’s NIKE Literary Prize shortlist and to hear that it will be one of the highlights of the Polish Book Institute catalogue Books from Poland.
