We’re honoured to announce an award-winning independent trade publisher Scribe UK acquired a study of Polish immigration in ELLIS ISLAND: A PEOPLE’S HISTORY by Małgorzata Szejnert. This entirely moving, dramatic, multi-vocal account of the agony and ecstasy of arriving in the Land of the Free will be published in the US, UK, Australia and New Zealand in winter 2020. The author represented by our agency is one of Poland’s most famous living journalists and this is her first book to be translated into English.
