Wojciech Chmielarz’s THE ARSONIST just published in France

Young, energetic and extremely talented Chmielarz definitely deserves the fame of the top Polish crime fiction writer. All his books have been shortlisted for the Great Calibre which is Poland’s most prestigious crime novel award and in 2015 his TAKEOVER was awarded the prize.

His first book in the Mortka series has just been published in France by Agullo (Fr. PYROMANE) and is gathering really nice reviews.

A deeply satisfying read, the series is a perfect choice for fans of Lackberg, Nesser or Nesbo especially if they are already somewhat tired of the Scandinavian entourage. It’s time to see now that Polish crime can also be downright fascinating and give readers better chills than the masters from Sweden or Norway.
